How are Cheesecakes shipped?
 
  They are shipped frozen in a special styrofoam container by express delivery. It should be refrozen upon arrival and removed from freezer 2 hours before serving.
CHEESECAKES ARE ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE CONTIGUOUS 48 STATES to PHYSICAL STREET ADDRESSES.
How is the Pecan Coffee Cake shipped?
 
  It is shipped express delivery in a needlepoint tin. Its delicious icing is in a container in the center of the cake. Icing can be warmed and applied.

Does the Rum cake contain real rum?
 
  No. The rum cake is made with a rum flavoring. It is like a pound cake with a rum taste throughout including a delicious top glaze.

What's the best way to make Cinchona coffee?
 
  For each 6 ounces of filtered cold water we recommend 2 level teaspoons of coffee. You can adjust the amount of coffee to suite your taste. Brew about 5 minutes.
What is a Deep Dish Fudge Pecan Pie?
 
  It's for all chocolate lovers! It has a rich, creamy chocolate fudge interior, with a pecan topping.
How do you put the icing on the Bundt cakes that have icing in the plastic tubs?
 
  You can place tub of icing in a pan of water and warm on low heat for ten minutes, or place in the microwave on high for ten to twenty seconds and then drizzle over cake.

  USA: Standard delivery in the U.S. is only $5.95 per shipment. Price includes delivery to the 50 states, all U.S. Possessions and Puerto Rico. Allow 7-14 business days for delivery. How do you "Doctor" the DeLuxe® Fruitcake?
 
  We recommend a good Cognac, Brandy, Red Wine or Port be used. Simply soak a clean white cheese cloth in the spirit of your choice then remove the cello wrap from your DeLuxe® and place the cloth completely around the cake. Make sure to fill the center hole with part of the well soaked cloth.
Place the "Doctored" DeLuxe® back in the tin and refrigerate. After about 5 days remove and re-soak the cheese cloth with special interest on the part in center of cake. Repeat every 5 days keep tasting until it's just right. Happy Sampling!
 

How do you store the DeLuxe® and what's the correct way to slice it?
 
  The most convenient way is to order your fruitcake presliced!  The DeLuxe® is best when enjoyed within a few days of arrival. With refrigeration, it can stay moist and easy-to-slice for two to three months. For longer storage, we suggest the freezer, up to one year.
To Slice: Without removing the foil liner, slice with a serrated knife using a sawing motion. Wipe blade with a wet cloth after each slice. Remove liner for serving. Slicing with the liner still in place yields consistent slices for a more attractive presentation.
 
How long does the DeLuxe® last?
 
 

Oh, about 10 minutes after its unwrapped? :)
Your cake is best enjoyed within a few days of arrival.  With refrigeration, it can stay moist and easy to slice for several months.  For longer storage, we suggest freezing.

 
Is the DeLuxe® Fruitcake only available at certain times of the year?
 
  The DeLuxe® Fruitcakes are always freshly baked and available year round.

You'll love our place, the nice, friendly folks who work here, and our little shop full of great tasting, freshly prepared goodies. There are always free samples and 10¢ coffee at the downtown location, 7 days a week. Our hours are Monday thru Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
