March 24th, 2020 - At Collin Street Bakery, we strive to support and protect the communities we serve. So in light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak, we are emphasizing the importance of being transparent and proactive. Our leadership team is actively monitoring updates from the CDC, as well as local public health authorities, in order to maintain the health and safety of our guests, customers, and employees.

 

Additionally, we understand and respect consumers’ concerns regarding food safety and distribution. Therefore, we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions in order to continue to support you with the food, knowledge, and comfort needed during this time of uncertainty.

 

Lastly, our hearts go out to everyone who is feeling the effects of this virus on their physical and mental health, their work, their family life, and their sense of stability in the world. While we work to curb the spread of this disease through the practice of social distancing, stay assured we are all in this together.

 

Are you still delivering products right now?

Yes. We are currently delivering to all of our customers and plan to continue delivering for the foreseeable future. We are predicting some delivery delays in the weeks ahead as our hard-working staff adjusts to new levels of demand. However, due to increased shipping demands, we can no longer guarantee exact delivery dates. To track your order, please check your tracking information provided via email.

 

Is the food I order safe?

Currently, there is no evidence of foodborne transmission of COVID-19, and the CDC and our supply team see no relevant risk or concern associated with food delivery. Within our production areas and warehouses, the CSB Safety team has placed extra emphasis on our already stringent processes.

 

What precautions are you taking to make sure that my delivery is safe?

Every employee handling products and boxes wears protective gloves, and all employees are trained on proper handwashing, safe food handling, social distancing, and effective preventive action.

 

Why did my delivery window change?

Due to increased shipping demands, we can no longer guarantee exact delivery dates. Our shipping carriers are not currently guaranteeing delivery times. Some orders delivery windows are subject to change.

 

What should I do if my delivery is late or I haven’t received it yet?

Stay patient and check your email. We’re doing our best to get everything delivered in a timely manner. To track your order, please check your tracking information provided via email or please reach out to us here.

 

Limited Hours For Our Locations

 

In light of recent directives from Gov. Abbott’s office, we are suspending the option to dine-in or carry out at all of our cafe locations EXCEPT our Downtown Corsicana location.

 

The store portion of our Downtown Corsicana location will remain open for carry-out orders only. An updated limited menu to purchase cookies, pies, bread, and other food items will be pinned to the top of our Collin Street Bakery and Cafe Facebook page.


This change will stay in effect through April 3, 2020.

 

To order ahead for pick-up at our 7th avenue location from our limited menu, please call our Downtown Corsicana location directly – 903.874.7477.


Delivery within Corsicana, TX is available through DoorDash.

We are taking precautions according to guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and local, state, and federal governments. These include increased frequency of hand-washing, continuous sanitization of surfaces, utilities, and equipment, and travel limitations for employees. We are also conducting periodic health and wellness checks on all staff. Any potentially ill employees will be sent home and will not be scheduled to resume work for at least 14 days.

 

We remain committed to ensuring our cafes are spaces where you can count on satisfying meals and delicious desserts while operating with the utmost care for the well-being of our guests and employees. To keep pace with the incredible speed at which things are changing, we will adapt our guest experience as needed and will continue to communicate frequently and always with transparency.
